Tiger Woods has finally decided to play in the PNC Championship 2022 with his son, Charlie. This has locked his 3 week comeback streak. The pro golfer is making a comeback after 4 months of taking a break, and he is making sure that this comeback is a blockbuster.

Tiger Woods makes a comeback after four months

There were speculations that Tiger Woods will team up with his son, Charlie Woods, for the PNC Championship happening in December this year.

The pro golfer went on a break from playing golf after the Open Championship this year. This was because of his underlying ailments post the surgeries done to improve his condition after the car crash.

The car crash that Tiger faced in 2021 impacted his career in a lot of ways. Thus, he decided to take a break from golf in order to heal from it properly.

However, the pro golfer is now making a comeback in December and it is a sight to see. He has filled his schedule with multiple events in the said month.

The pro golfer is playing three events in a span of three weeks. His three-week back-to-back events streak will start with the Hero World Challenge from December 1 to December 4. It will be followed by The Match VII on December 10. His recent commitment to playing the PNC Championship with his son will book him from December 17 to December 18.

The Woods duo recently confirmed their plans for the highly coveted PNC Championship and the world of golf is on its toes to see how this year turns out!

2021 PNC Championship results and the Woods

Team Daly comprising John Daly and Little John emphatically won the 2021 edition of the tournament. The duo ended the event with an overall score of 27-under-par and, as a result, finished on the top of the leaderboard. Their team carded a final round of 15-under-par, 57 to win the event.

Moreover, Team Woods finished as the runner-up at the event. They ended the tournament with an overall score of 25-under-par.

As a result, Charlie and Tiger Woods had to settle for a solo second position on the leaderboard. They carded a final round of 15-under-par, 67 to finish on a high note.
