“The Great One” was once seen in a video with his nearly 2-year-old grandson. And despite his love for golf, the player was playing hockey with the kid. Golf legend’s daughter Paulina Gretzky once shared a video of her happy father having the time of his life with his grandson, River.

The two can be seen trying to tackle a tennis ball with their hockey sticks. Wayne even tried to show off his skills by slapping the ball from between River’s legs. While the two enjoyed themselves, the family dog also entered the space to get involved. He picked up the ball with his teeth and dropped it on Wayne’s feet.

Another video of the golf superstar went viral where he was spotted playing hockey with his other grandson Tatum. The little boy was hardly a couple of years old at the time back in 2016. But he made sure to give tough competition to his grandpa. Janet Gretzky posted the video on Instagram and wrote, “Papa Wayne determined hockey is in him making sure he is a lover, not a fighter,”.
