To a golfer, the equipment they use is beyond precious. Even if some money might not be the issue, some players use customized items. Without one’s own clubs or gear, it might be difficult to play or score well.

Of course, this does not mean that players do not like to experiment once in a while. Professionals often have very specific clubs they like, and rarely switch up their order for a game.

PGA Tour icon Jordan Spieth is one such golfer. Let’s take a look at what iron Jordan Spieth is using.

What iron does Jordan Spieth use in 2022?

Before we get into what iron Spieth uses, it should be noted that he has been using Titleist items. This dates back to his amateur days, and the 28-year-old has made sure that he stays loyal to the brand. Furthermore, the brand has Spieth’s equipment listed on its website.

Spieth ended up using his new T200 2-iron during the Open Championship last year. Apart from that, he used his T100’s from four-iron to nine-iron as a set.

While the T200 might not be a permanent fixture in his bag, the T100 set is always present during his tournaments. Having played with these irons for a long time, Spieth seems most confident with them.

What does Spieth say about his irons?

“First thing you noticed is how they look, kind of the backside of the iron. You could see the color just kind of more matted out, and then a really clean back to it,” Spieth said while speaking to GolfWRX. “Just very simple – stays looking almost like a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity-back”.

To the three-time major winner, it seemed fruitless to play any other iron. He added that while he jokes about not playing with blades, but believes one is just being smarter. “I think we’re just like, ‘Oh, we can actually hit every shot that a blade can hit”.
