There are very few people in Hollywood that go together like peanut butter and jelly. How many pairs of male actors can you name that have the ultimate chemistry like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart? None. Although the duo has not worked together a lot, the most recent DC League of Superpets is their 5th movie in a partnership that started in 2016 with Central Intelligence.

But the many clips from talk shows, promotion interviews, and red carpet previews for their movies have started a fan following for the two. It comprises the fan bases of the two mega-stars. People also noticed the clear amazing performances by DJ in comedy movies whenever Hart is in a scene with him. This has made the former WWE Champion branch out more into comedy than just action movies.

The Jumanji series is a striking counterpart to his roles in the various Fast and Furious movies. For a head-to-head comparison, in 2019, DJ featured in Hobbs & Shaw, a side story of the F&F series with him as the lead actor, and Jumanji: The Next Level, the sequel to the 2017 mega-blockbuster Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Comparing critically Hobbs & Shaw has a rating of 67% on Rotten Tomatoes as Jumanji: The Next Level has 71%. Clearly, ever since partnering up with Kevin Hart, The Rock has been giving better performances, according to the fans as well as the critics.
