Preview-

The Mavericks are coming on the back of two thumping victories in their last two games against Golden State Warriors (142-94) and Cleveland Cavaliers (143-101). The victories were led by their young sensation Luka Doncic, who registered the fastest ever 35-plus point triple double against the Warriors amongst reaching a few other milestones. In the previus game, scored 30 points, and dished out 14 assists, which gave him a double-double for the game. The Mavericks are currently on a four game winning streak and stand fifth in the Western Conference with an overall win-loss record of 10-5 for the season so far.

Houston Rockets have had two defeats in a row now, but managed to stay third in the Western Conference- two places above their Sunday’s opponents, and one place above their previous opponents to whom they lost.

James Harden once again managed to get a good haul of points (37), but it was not enough to get them past Los Angeles Clippers, as the Rockets had to deal with Lou Williams apart from the fuo of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.

Sunday’s match will see the experienced duo of Harden and Russell Westbrook up against a rather younger, upcoming duo of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis.

Predictions-

While Doncic has been exceptional for the Mavericks this season so far, and Porzingis has provided good support, there have been very little contributions from other players, which has led to their struggles at times. This might once again be the case on Sunday and the Rockets might end their four-game winning streak.
