As you can see in the above picture, Sloane Stephens is playing her match at the World TeamTennis. If you look at the picture a little more closely, you will also see Eugenie Bouchard as the ballgirl. This is the new rule that has been implemented due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, teammates are replacing the ballboys to reduce the number of people on the court.

The Canadian star loves the new rule and in a Twitter post, she said that it is something that the World TeamTennis should do every year. She also asked Sloane Stephens how she did as a ballgirl to which Sloane hasn’t replied. We should hear her reply soon enough.

There are going to be events played almost every single week. And in addition to that, the 2 Grand Slams – the US Open and the French Open are going to be played in almost the same month. This is why players need to prepare themselves very well.

Eugenie Bouchard and Sloane Stephens are doing exactly that by playing the World TeamTennis event. And hopefully, the will do very well when the Tour returns on August 3rd with the Palermo Open.
