Japanese star Naomi Osaka had some interesting answers to keep her fans entertained as the quarantine wears on. While most of us have more time to reflect on certain events in our lives, the same applies to the stars of tennis.

A fan asked Osaka an interesting question on Instagram. All tennis stars keep amassing staggering achievements. However, there is that one moment where you’re like “Woah, I’ve actually made it big.”

Most often, it is a change in your past life and not a landmark achievement. The same holds true for Naomi Osaka.

What did Naomi Osaka say?

Osaka revealed that her moment of truth came in her homeland of Japan. While casually walking on the road, she had to employ security guards. Plus a huge crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite daughter.

“When I was trying to walk around in Osaka and I needed security and this crowd formed.”

However, the young sensation clarified that she still doesn’t think that she has actually made it big. This is because a lot of her goals still remain unachieved. Till that happens, there’s a lot that she still has to do.

“Hard question though cause I still got mega goals and I didn’t touch anywhere close to where I wanna be. That’s just the moment I felt seen.”

We can completely relate with Osaka on some level. When you’re from a country that doesn’t really have the greatest precedents in terms of tennis stars, your achievements are really novel in every sense. Osaka is the biggest tennis star to come out of Japan in a long time.

Even Kei Nishikori had his moments of glory, but he couldn’t win any grand slam. Osaka, on the other hand, has already won two of them. Naomi Osaka will certainly be one of the biggest Asian tennis stars in the upcoming period.
