Virat Kohli left no stone unturned in making his maiden outing as India’s full-time ODIs skipper a memorable one. India chased down a mammoth total of 350/7 posted by England after being put into bat. India’s successful chase was fourth highest in ODIs in a winning cause.
After being reduced for 63/4, India were in all sorts of trouble. Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav took up the charge and their 200-run partnership off just 87 deliveries helped India to go on to win the match. Kohli scored 122 to bring up his 27th ODI ton and Kedar Jadhav scored a blazing 120 off 76 balls and went on to become the Man of the Match.
