As Mushfiqur Rahim led Bangladesh to a historic win over India in a match that was actually in jeopardy of being cancelled, India have only themselves to blame. Taking nothing away from the Tigers effort, India could have sealed the match, if Krunal Pandya had not missed a “dolly” of a catch off a Rahim shot.

Much before that catch, there was another moment, maybe not something related to cricketing skill, but certainly something  which is gaining increasing importance- Decision Review System (DRS). Once again, India had got a few DRS calls wrong.

In the the 11 over, India had an appeal for a caught behind, with Rishabh Pant seeming extremely confident. In fact, he persuaded Rohit Sharma to go for a review. But the replays showed that the ball wasn’t really near the bat. At this moment, Rohit Sharma, as a captain, had every reason to be disappointed at his wicket-keeper, but that didn’t seem to be the case.
