The South Korean hockey team thrashed China 4-1 in their clash to finish in the Super 4s. While China now face Bangladesh for 7th place, it will be India vs South Korea in the Super 4s. India and South Korea have faced each other on several occasions. With regard to the Asia Cup, the two have met on 10 occasions. India have won 6 encounters and drawn once. South Korea have defeated India on 3 occasions. So before the match takes place, let us look at the head to head.

India and South Korea have clashed on multiple occasions in the Asia Cup. In the most recent encounter, Korea Triumphed with a 4-3 score in the final in 2013. But India does have a better track record over South Korea, having won 6 matches, losing 3 and drawing once. With India not losing a single match on the road to the Super 4s, the momentum is with them. South Korea on the other hand have one blip on their 2017 Asia Cup run, namely a 2-1 loss to Malaysia.
