Indian Pacer Jasprit Bumrah Dating Anupama Parameswaran

Cricket and Bollywood are India’s two most popular industries and every Indian loves these two factions. However, there have been occasions when the two industries have joined together. A number of cricketers have dated and even married Bollywood actresses, with the latest power couple being Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Now, there is a new Cricket and Bollywood linkup which is rumoured to come to light. Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah recently followed South Indian heroine Anupama Parameswaran on social media, sparking rumours.

Bumrah and Parameswaran recently followed each other on Twitter and Bumrah even liked a few of her tweets. However, in a recent interview, Anupama denied the claims and firmly stated that they are just ‘good friends’.

It is also worth noting that Bumrah is not following any other female actress on social media. 23-year-old Anupama is a well-known personality in the South Indian film industry, who’s star brightened with 2015 hit, Premam. Since then, she has featured in movies like Sathamanam Bhavati, Natasaarvabhowma, and Vunnadhi Okade Zindagi. Parameswaran even collected three accolades for her work.

For now, Jasprit Bumrah is busy with the Indian team in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. The pacer has been a key player in the side for a while and came into his own in 2018. He even thrived in Test cricket following his debut against South Africa. Jasprit Bumrah boasts of the ability to bowl a deceptive slower ball, along with a lethal yorker.

Also in 2018, he was India’s leading wicket-taker in ODI cricket in the fast bowler list. Jasprit Bumrah has amassed 22 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 16.63 with best figures of 4/35. Unfortunately, Jasprit Bumrah has been a little muzzled in the World Cup with just five wickets in two encounters.

When the Indian team clashed with South Africa, he claimed the wickets of Mumbai Indians teammate, Quinton de Kock and veteran, Hashim Amla. Then, when the Men in Blue faced Australia, he bowled like a man possessed and was rewarded with three wickets. Coming back to his personal life, Jasprit Bumrah is yet to answer questions surrounding his rumoured relationship with Anupama.
