Venue: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis

Preview-

During their last 12 games, the Clippers were stunned in San Antonio and humbled in Milwaukee. Otherwise, they have been almost flawless, winning the other 10 over that period. Sunday’s results have put them second in the Western Conference behind their local rivals- Lakers. Out of the 23 games this season, Clippers have played 10 on the road, but managed to win only four out of them. Their impressive 13-1 home record has put them amongst the top teams with an overall win-loss record of 17-7.

Their opponents on Monday, Indiana Pacers, have had a good first few months of the season. With a win-loss record of 15-8, they sit sixth in the Eastern Conference. Like Clippers, they boast an impressive 9-2 home record, but the away record does not look very good at 6-6. And like Clippers, the Pacers have been in good form winning eight of their last 10 games.

Clippers playing back-to-back games could mean a resting Kawhi Leonard. They however, have decent replacements to pick from in the form of Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams. Paul George and Patrick Beverley have been in good form and can come good on Monday.

For the Pacers, the major positive seems to be the away record of the opponents and their own home record. However, Clippers do start the contest as favourites owing to their roster depth and quality.
