David Goffin (BEL) vs Milos Raonic (CAN)
Goffin is into his first ever ATP 1000 semi and he’s only the second Belgian to reach this deep into a Masters 1000. He also managed to break his 14 match losing streak against Top 10 players after upsetting Wawrinka in a thriller. Goffin will not only jump to 13th in the world if he makes the final, but it will also be a huge boost to his ambitions of making the Top 10, and having a crack at either Rafa or Novak.
The winner at Brisbane, Raonic will play his second consecutive semi here and will look to enter his 17th career final and 3rd Masters 1000 final. A potential world number 10 spot is on the cards for Milos, if he wins the title and he’d have to suffice with the 12th spot if he ends as the runner up on Sunday.
