Veteran India spinner Harbhajan Singh, who hasn’t played for India since 2016 but hasn’t announced his retirement, was the only Indian player in the draft for The Hundred. The Hundred is a new format league in England which will take place next year.
However, ahead of the draft, Harbhajan took his name off the list of continuing to play for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. Another India player, Yuvraj Singh also took part in the Canada Global T20 League after announcing his retirement from all forms of the game.
On the other hand, KKR has not named any replacement player yet. Ahead of IPL 2020, KKR have faced another issue as well. Players from the franchise have come under the scanner for age fudging. Middle-order batsman Nitish Rana and fast bowler Shivam Mavi are the two players and they might not get their services in the upcoming season.
