The league stages of the IPL 2019 concluded on Sunday with the top four teams fixing their position for the playoffs. While CSK, DC, and MI had already booked their places in the last four, SRH filled the final place in the IPL playoffs 2019 after MI won their last match against KKR.

With MI winning the final match of the league stages of IPL 2019, the team qualified for IPL 2019 playoff matches are decided. The IPL playoffs 2019 will feature Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

CSK faced MI in the 2010 IPL finals. CSK defeated MI to conquer the title in 2010. MS Dhoni-led CSK defeated MI in the eliminator stage of the IPL 2012 edition. The two teams met two times in the IPL 2013 playoffs with MI coming out as the winning team both the times. In the 2014 eliminator, CSK defeated MI at their home.

The IPL playoff stage of the 2015 edition was a replica of that of 2013 IPL playoff matches. Rohit Sharma-led MI defeated CSK two times – in the qualifier 1 and the finals. The two teams will renew their rivalry in the IPL playoffs 2019 as they meet in the qualifier 1 in Chennai.

The rivalry between MI and KKR always brings up some exciting matches. But the result has been one-sided when the two teams have met in the IPL playoffs. Mumbai defeated KKR both the times in the playoffs.

MI faced KKR in the eliminator of the 2011 eliminator. MI was on winning side in their first match in the playoffs. The two franchise again met in the qualifier 2 of the IPL 2017. Mumbai again defeated KKR quite comfortably to reach the finals.

CSK defeated RCB in the qualifier 1 and finals of the IPL 2011. The two teams again met at the qualifier 2 stage of the 2015 IPL. CSK again came out to be the winning team.
