“It Hurts”- Novak Djokovic Opens Up on his Process

Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player who has 16 grand slam titles. He is currently ranked no.2 in the world rankings. Majorly, he has won 7 Australian Open, 5 Wimbledon, 3 US Open, and 1 French Open titles.

ATP Tour starts again this year. It begins with the ATP Cup in Brisbane which will constitute of 24 teams. Djokovic will be playing for Serbia. He will be taking part in the competition. He also looks forward to winning the Cup.

In a recent tweet uploaded by ATP Tour, Djokovic has said “If you’re enjoying the process, trying to embrace the pain then I guess it hurts less. But it hurts, I mean they say no pain no gain.”

ATP has quoted that as “Brilliant Insight” as the Serb will be one of the star names this season.

Andy Murray and Roger Federer have already pulled themselves out of the cup. They will not be participating in the ATP Cup this time. Novak will have it easier this time due to the lack of serious competition. Djokovic has 5 ATP Finals titles, 34 ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles, 13 ATP Tour 500 titles. He has been a regular superstar in the ATP Tour since he started playing. He joined professional tennis in 2003 when he entered the ATP World Tour.

Looking back at 2019, he won his 7th Australian Open when he defeated Nadal in straight sets. He lost to Dominic Thiem in the French Open in the semis. He won the Wimbledon by defeating Roger Federer. It was his 16th Grand Slam title.

Predicting for a good future in 2020, he claims to work hard and make the metaphorical fruit his as he looks to win the ATP Tour. The confidence is high as he looks at another successful year.
