In a mini-documentary created by ATP, Stefanos Tsitsipas claims to win a grand slam this year. The ATP Tour chose him to feature in their Road to 2020 video.

Tsitsipas is a Greek player and the youngest in the top 10.

Road to 2020 is the name of the video that the ATP has put up. Being just 21, he has raised the bar high for himself in the New Year. In fact, he has also claimed to quit social media ahead of the 2020 season.

The Greek player is really excited to be part of the competition. Greece has been drawn against Australia, Canada, and Germany.

Tsitsipas stated that It brings Greece new opportunities and new possibilities. As Team Greece’s highest-ranked player, I’m really proud that I have a team like this by my side, Most of them are young and, for us, it’s probably one of the biggest events to play as a team together. The ATP Cup is one of the biggest events we will ever play”.

As the Australian Open is around the corner, The Greek remembers how he got into some major spotlight. He had defeated the defending champion, Roger Federer, last year. A shocking surprise but a well-deserved victory for Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The ATP Tour also named Stefanos Tsitsipas as Greece’s best tennis player.

The previous year ATP Finals champion has got his hopes up and goals set for the new decade. “It’s going to be a very strong start of the season. We’ll have many difficult things to face at the ATP Cup, so it won’t be easy for us. And we’re going to have to bring the best out and work as a unit and work as a team,” he said. “I know we’re playing individually, but what makes it exciting is playing as a team and sticking together and playing for one cause.”

Tsitsipas plans to move on from the topsy turvy 2019 year he had and go full-fledged in the 2020 season.
