Perisic has made it evident that he’s ready to leave the club, putting English giants Arsenal on the alert. However, Marotta revealed no offer is on the table for the Croatian international, and with 2 days to go before winter deadline day shuts down, Arsenal would be trying hard to wrap up the deal as quickly as possible.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has made it clear that the club are looking for a winger to boost their ranks, and a winger of Perisic’s quality should help them for the rest of the season. What’s interesting is both Perisic and Inter are ready to move on, only an year after the duo declined the opportunity to have the player move to Manchester United. Ivan Perisic is now 30, and after a glittering World Cup campaign, things haven’t been the same as they were an year ago.

A move to the Premier League excites Perisic and Unai Emery will be delighted to have someone like Perisic help him and his team who struggle at the moment. With a lack of wingers at Emery’s aid, he’s been forced to play either of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette play wide. Mkhitaryan is close to being completely fit, while Danny Welbeck is yet to return after suffering an ankle injury back in November. Perisic could very well be the answer to Arsenal’s attacking problems.
