John Isner last played the French Open and was ousted in the 2nd round by fellow American Sebastian Korda. Looking back, Isner’s 2020 season has been tough. After a stellar 2018 where he reached the Wimbledon semifinal, Isner has had to deal with a few injuries in 2019 and 2020. Before the pandemic break, Isner had a abysmal ATP Cup and Australian Open. And after the pandemic break, Isner crashed out of US Open in the first round and then now had a lacklustre performance at French Open. Isner’s ranking has also fallen to 23rd.
