The participation of the kiwi fast bowler, Adam Milne and allrounder, Corey Anderson in the ongoing Indian Premier League seems unlikely as the duo were relieved of their Indian Premier League commitments due to injury.

The Black Caps speedster Milne, who was signed by the Royal Bangalore Challengers for $150,000, was ruled out of the tournament on Thursday (NZT) because of a heel injury he sustained during the tail end of the Cricket World Cup.

It is also known that New-Zealand all-rounder Anderson has headed back home after suffering a minor finger fracture. He was an integral part of the Mumbai Indians squad and is expected to undergo a full assessment of the injury in New Zealand.

Milne was expected to be fit to play in the latter stages of the Twenty20 tournament, but Bangalore have decided to cut their losses, replacing the speedster with Indian seamer Sreenath Aravind.

The heel injury, which forced Milne to miss the semifinal and final of the World Cup could have an impact on his availability for the tour to England, which starts on May 8 with a tour match against Somerset.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore , though , would not miss him much considering the fact that Mitchell Starc, who was the man of the tournament in the recently concluded world cup, is fit again and playing for the RCB.
