Mark Hunt has been in a long-stretched battle with the UFC. And he in no way is in favor of anything Dana white has planned for the months to come.

Mark Hunt filed his first legal case against the UFC in 2017. He sued the UFC, it’s president Dana White and Brock Lesnar. Hunt had suffered a unanimous loss to Brock Lesnar at UFC 200 which was later overturned to a no-contest as Brock Lesnar was found guilty of using performance enhancement drugs.

Hunt sued all parties for racketeering, fraud, battery, and civil conspiracy among other things but the case was dismissed in court. But Hunt’s legal pursuit of the UFC didn’t stop here.

Earlier this month, Hunt told Duello Channel that he’s gearing up for another legal battle against the UFC. This time he is suing the UFC for allegedly trying to force him to fight Alistair Overeem at UFC 209. Hunt in no way supports the promotion company or anything they stand for.

Speaking with MMA fighting, Hunt said, “All [fans are] doing is paying for them to get richer and richer, and all these fighters are getting screwed. “So I don’t support them at all. I don’t care what they’re doing. … Promoting some fights on an island, who gives a f*ck? They allow these cheaters to get by, and it’s just business.[UFC fighters aren’t] even employees. They’re contractors. They share four percent of the revenue, so why would you support that? The fighters aren’t getting the benefits. I think it’s a joke.”

Mark Hunt goes after Dana White

Hunt was also very vocal about his opinion on Dana White’s plan for this May. Keeping in mind the lockdown, Dana White not only is ready for the 9th of May but also planning a UFC event on a private ‘fight island’.

Hunt said, “Look why they’re there, They let juiced-up cheaters fight against guys who don’t cheat, and they don’t give a sh*t if they die or not. Look how they treat the fighters. You think the UFC actually cares about the fighters or the people who watch? Look what they did with Jon Jones. They moved his show in one week from Las Vegas to California. They took all the fans that paid to go there to go f*ck themselves on Christmas. And all the fighters who fought on the card lost 10 percent of their purse? You think the UFC cares about people? They don’t give a shit. People need to actually see what they’re really doing.”

Hunt said this misfit relationship with the promotion company is the reason he doesn’t like fighting anymore. He isn’t sure about his future in the sport. He’s solely focusing on his family right now.
