After a below par 2019, the New Orleans will be looking for a good start to 2020. They have stitched together four wins in the last four games, improving their record to 11-23. Their 11 wins is just three less that San Antonio Spurs in the last play-off spot. With Zion Williamson nearing his return, the Pelicans will be fancying their chances to make it to the play-offs. Their morale will also be boosted after having beaten Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets in their four-game winning streak coming into 2020.

Their Friday’s opponents, Lakers, are on the opposite end of the table. Not too long ago, the Lakers’ loss column read just three games. Predictions-

Although the likes of Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart have struggled for the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram has put up some decent performances. He has been supported by Jrue Holiday at times, but he is also expected to be traded. However, the Pelicans could fall short when the face the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis of Lakers.
