Notably, this is the second event of the 2022 LPGA Tour season. It has star players in the field, like the Korda sisters, Danielle Kang, Lexi Thompson, and others. More importantly, the prize purse of the event is higher than the last week’s Tournament of Champions.

The winner will receive the standard 15 percent share from the total purse according to the LPGA Tour’s prize money distribution chart; $300,000.

Apart from monetary gains, the winner will receive other perks, too. The winner will get 500 Race to the CME Globe points with a two-year exemption on the LPGA Tour and a place in the other prominent tournaments of the season. Hence, players will aim to finish at the top and get these benefits along with the $300,000 prize money and trophy.

Notably, there is a 36 hole cut for the event, and only the top 70 and ties will make it to the weekend from the total 120 players.
