Macaulay Culkin Honestly Shares Why He Never Joined WWE: ‘I Kind of Regret It’

Freddie Prinze Jr. released a new episode of his podcast, Wrestling with Freddie, with a special guest, Macaulay Culkin. Both stars are big WWE fans and professional wrestling fans in general.
In the podcast, they talked about their individual love for wrestling, how they got into wrestling, and the current product. While speaking on a variety of topics, Culkin also talked about why he never went for a job with WWE.

Prinze talked about his experience, working for WWE and asked Culkin why he never worked for the company. The actor replied, “Oh man, there were times where I wanted to, like kind of just find six months of my life at the very least just to kinda go in there and stuff.”

Freddie Prinze Jr. reveals a WWE secret to Macaulay Culkin
WWE SmackDown has a five-year agreement with FOX to air the show in a $205 million deal. However, while talking to Culkin about WWE, Prinze revealed WWE wanted to sell the whole product to FOX.
Prinze Jr. mentioned that he hadn’t talked about this incident before but he will now as it has been long enough. He said, “I was talking to a dude who was interviewing to be their COO, or they wanted to interview.”

The executive revealed to Freddie that WWE wanted FOX to buy the whole product. Fortunately, they couldn’t agree to a number, so the company just licensed SmackDown instead.
That’s surprising indeed.
