This week on the latest edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, the fans saw a big return. The WWE superstar made his return after a long 7-month hiatus.

This week on RAW, MVP came to the ring with Lashley and Shelton Benjamin and cut a promo. He claimed he didn’t even need to break a sweat to become the United States Champion at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules.

Interestingly, MVP is a self-proclaimed United States champion. According to WWE, Apollo Crews is still the United States Champion.

During the promo, MVP took shots at Apollo for sitting at home and not being a fighting champ.

MVP then called Cedric Alexander and Ricochet ‘two hard-headed kids’ who just won’t listen. Crews’ friends Ricochet and Alexander could not tolerate the trash talking and interrupted the segment.

After the duo called them a bunch of chumps, MVP made an offer to them. MVP said that he’d allow Alexander and Ricochet to pick any two members of the Hurt Business for a tag team match tonight.

However, Alexander and Ricochet had a surprise of their own.

Cedric Alexander and Ricochet said they would accept a six-man tag team match instead of just a tag-team match. The duo then announced their partner.

It is currently difficult to guess what is the story ahead for Mustafa Ali. The famous and highly anticipated SmackDown hacker story had many rumored superstars to perform that gimmick.

There were many names predicted to play that character. However, one of the strongest links to that gimmick was Mustafa Ali.

His return in a normal way almost confirms the SmackDown hacker storyline is dropped after Paul Heyman’s sacking.

Ali has never won a singles title in the WWE. A shortage of superstars on the roster due to the COVID pandemic may be a problem for Vince McMahon.

However, this can be a big opportunity for Ali to prove himself. Ali may have not have gotten these chances if the WWE roster was at full strength.

Only time will tell if Mustafa Ali grabs this opportunity with both hands.
