Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg is known to be an avid football fan, New England Patriots to be more precise. And as every Patriot, he also has a soft side for Tom Brady in his heart. The 44-year-old quarterback spent two decades with the franchise and brought a number of trophies and honors to Foxborough. However, his influence on the gridiron is something that can never be quantified.

It’s been only three weeks since the iconic quarterback hung his cleats, and the fans are already missing him. Many even believe that he is in such a good shape that he could even continue for another Super Bowl run. “I was just happy for him,” Mark said in the Dan Patrick Show. “I was happy you know for me he done so much for New England, he’s done so much for football you know for us to you know to win that many championships you know six titles [with the Patriot], it’s a blessing. Whatever he wants to do, I’m more than supportive and happy for him.”

The news of Tom Brady’s retirement might have hit him like a truck. However, since the 44-year-old quarterback called it quits the league has been buzzing with rumors of his possible return. And if he could just make those rumors come to life, it might be remembered as an epic comeback just like his Super Bowl LI game.
