Injury update & team news-

Neither of the teams have any injuries to worry about so far. Mavericks will be looking on the last year’s Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic to come good once again. Doncic has started his second season on a high with the Mavericks. He leads Dallas in points per game with 28.5, assists per game with 9.1, field goal percentage at 47.2 and rebounds per game with 10.7.

Along with Doncic, Kristaps Porzingiis has come good for the Mavericks and their partnership has already earned them high praises.

The Spurs, on the other hand, come into the game with a 5-8 record, which will not be pleasing for them as they currently sit 13th in the Western Conference.

Mavericks have been riding high on the back of Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic, but their problem has remained in the consistency of other players. There have been games where Doncic’s efforts weren’t supported enough by others and ended up on the losing side. However, San Antonio have failed to register a win in any of the last five games, three at home- against Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies and Portland Trail Blazers, and two down the road to Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Considering the season of their Monday’s opponents so far, the Mavericks might have just enough in the tank to take them past the Spurs.
