Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez believes Steve Cohen and Buck Showalter transformed the Mets
Talking about the Mets, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez praised Steve Cohen for bringing the right people and believing in his team. A-Rod also applauded Buck Showalter for his managing skills. He even compared Showalter with the iconic NFL manager, Nick Saban.
“We’re talking about Steve Cohen… One of the richest owners in sports, but one of the richest as far as deploying capital analytics. But what he did differently is he also brought in Buck Showalter, who is a savant and is an old-school guy. Reminds me of Nick Saban,” said A-Rod.
