Boston Red Sox Ace Chris Sale to Replace Dugout TV After Losing Cool in Triple-A Meltdown

The ongoing week has not been so good for the Boston Red Sox. First, they lost the series-opener game to their arch-rivals, the New York Yankees, and now, their ace, Chris Sale, seems to be in trouble. Notably, Chris Sale is recovering from a rib injury he suffered in February 2022.
Currently, Chris is in rehab with the Triple-A team, WooSox. And the 2018 World Series-winning star did quite damage following a meltdown after the game. And the Red Sox ace ended up breaking things into the WooSox dugout.

However, a recent report suggests that Chris has agreed to buy a new TV for the WooSox dugout. Chris has been an integral part of the Red Sox organization. A seven-time All-Star, Chris played an instrumental role in the Red Sox winning the World Series title in the 2018 season. And the Red Sox are still counting on him for the ongoing season.
When will Chris Sale be back on the Red Sox roster?
After the infamous World series win in the 2018 season, Chris has not been the same. After missing the 2019 and 2020 seasons because of “Tommy John” surgery, the Red Sox ace injured his rib in February this year.

Per Bleacher Report, Chris had a poor start for the WooSox. The seven-time All-Star allowed five walks, three hits, and one unearned run during the 3.2 innings he pitched. And as a result, the WooSox ended up losing the game by 4-2 to the RailRiders.

What followed next to the defeat was a shock for everyone. The Red Sox ace broke a trashed TV placed in the WooSox dugout. However, things have been sorted. And Chris has also offered to buy a brand new TV worth $1100.
