The New York Yankees have been sensational in the 2022 season. Under the leadership of Aaron Judge, the Pinstripes are simply unstoppable. The Yankees’ talisman is a rare combination of skill, talent, dedication, and leadership qualities. These are the ingredients that make Judge so significant for the Yankees.

Although Judge had an excellent game on Tuesday, the additional dimension of Camden Yards might have robbed him of another home run. Notably, during the off-season, the Baltimore Orioles made some changes to their left-field wall. The new wall at the left-field is even higher than it was before.

Despite being an average side, the Orioles remain the only MLB team to beat the New York Yankees in a series. That too at the same Camden Yards. And this time again, the Yankees are playing the same team at the same venue. Talking about Aaron Judge’s missed-home run, baseball fans heavily criticized the Orioles for making a difficult ballpark.

Aaron Judge smashed a ball to 399-foot, and still, it wasn’t a home run

Per Statcast, when Aaron Judge hit the ball to the new left-field wall, it would have been a home run in 29 of the 30 ballparks in MLB. Taking to Twitter, MLB insider Bryan said the same. Notably, the new left-field wall is approx 30 feet farther from the home plate and five feet taller. These recent changes might have robbed Judge of a home run in the game.

By the end of the game, Judge had two home runs in his name, despite playing in a difficult ballpark. Many baseball fans even said that the Yankees slugger owns the Camden Yards.

Aaron Boone took a dig at the new dimension of Camden Yards

Everyone was upset with the new dimension of the Orioles ballpark. Had they not made any changes, Judge would have had three home runs in his name. The Yankees manager, Aaron Boone, expressed his anger and said “build your own park” robbed him of a home run.

“He almost had three (homers), but Build Your Own Park got him,” said Boone.

Even Judge was furious about the structure of the new dimension. The Yankees slugger said he was pretty upset. “It’s a travesty, man. I’m pretty upset. It just looks like a Create-A-Park now.”
