True Blue LA tweeted Betts is a God among men, while a baseball fan suggested no one should run when Mookie Betts has the ball.

NBA legend, Magic Johnson, also heaped praise on the Dodgers star for his scintillating display against the Phillies. Johnson said that Betts did everything that a baseball player possibly can do in the ballpark.

“Mookie Betts did it all tonight with his bat, glove, and arm in the Dodgers’ 7-4 win over the Phillies! He hit a home run, made a spectacular catch, and threw a man out from third base trying to score at home. That play should be on #SCTop10 tonight,” tweeted the NBA legend.

LA Dodgers in 2022

After his dominant performance, the LA Dodgers beat the Phillies by 7-4 in the second game of the series. The Dodgers also registered their seventh consecutive win in the current season.

With 27 wins out of the 39 games, the Dave Roberts-led team is at the top of the NL West 2022 standings.
