The New York Yankees are in red-hot form. Under the leadership of Aaron Judge, the Yankees are running riots in Major League Baseball this season. When the regular season kicked off, literally no one expected them to play this kind of baseball. But here they are, ruling the American League East like no one.

There is a reason why this team is playing such good baseball. The Yankees are not dependent on certain players. In every game, they have a different hero to take them home. Sometimes, they are Anthony Rizzo and Nestor Cortes Jr., while Gleyber Torres, DJ LeMahieu, and many others are also doing their bits. And that is what makes them even a more powerful side.

This time, in a recent game against the Toronto Blue Jays, it was time for Aaron Judge to shine for the team. The Yankees slugger chose the best occasion to smack his first-career walk-off home run.

Aaron Judge wins for the Yankees in death

At once, the Blue Jays were leading 5-3 against the Yankees, but Judge hit his first-ever walk-off home run in the ninth inning and won the game for the Pinstripes. It took 600 MLB games for Judge to hit his first career walk-off home run.

Talking about his stunning performance and the late comeback, Judge said this team does not know how to quit. On his milestone, the Yankees star said that he was nervous.

“There is never quitting in this team. Especially playing here in Yankee Stadium with these fans, there is never a doubt… I was a little nervous,” Aaron Judge said. “I had a couple balls good and they cannot get out. But I am just trying to put a good swing on and the guys in front of me had great at-bats. They made my job easier to try to square one up.”

With this remarkable win, the Yankees have won 21 games out of 29 in the current season. The Aaron Judge-led team has lost only three games in their last 16 games. If not for the Baltimore Orioles’ series in the Camden Yards, the Yankees have dominated every opposition.
