After former shortstop, Derek Jeter, the current manager of the Yankees, Aaron Boone, talked about the challenge that the front office has to deal with this off-season. As soon as this season ended, Aaron Judge officially became a free agent. Till now, there is no news of any contract being offered to him, either by the Yankees or any other team.

But Judge has previously talked about his love for the New York Yankees and also has dropped some not-so-subtle hints of him staying a Yankee. Earlier this year, the Yankees’ front office did offer Judge a contract of $213.5 million for seven years. But the outfielder had turned it down. Later, he also showed regret for not accepting the offer as he thought at the time that it was the best he could get.

But, considering the season Judge had this year, there does not look a reason why he might be thinking that now. Not only did the outfielder hit his target of hitting 50 home runs for the second time, but he also hit 13 more to break the legendary Roger Maris’ record of single-season AL’s most home runs. And now that he is a free agent, it really is a challenge for the Yankees to have him stay as a Pinstriper considering that he might have many other options.

What did Boone say about the thing on the Yankees’ wishlist?

There are many things that might be on the wish list of the New York Yankees, and according to the manager Aaron Boone, Aaron Judge is hopefully on it.

“Well, start with Aaron,” said Boone. To bring Judge back as a Yankee is going to be difficult unless the management offers a contract that Judge simply can’t refuse and is far better than what the others might offer him.

Aaron Judge Reveals How His Parents’ Upbringing Made “Picking Up Garbage” Fun During His Teenage Years

The outfielder has proved himself this season by doing his best. He had hit 62 homers in the regular season breaking Maris’ record, and two homers in the postseason. Not only did he help his team win AL East, but he also helped his team win ALDS and took to the ALCS.

Unfortunately, World Series was not in the cards for the Pinstripes this year, but considering the second half of the regular season they had in the starting, the Yankees came a pretty long way. Also, he is the AL’s Hank Aaron Award Winner.

How did the fans react to Boone favoring Aaron Judge?

One of the fans had his focus on Boone’s hair, as he hasn’t seen it before.

Others showed their love for Judge while many seemed disappointed with Boone yet again.
