Shohei Ohtani’s Japanese Comrade Reveals His Gameplan to Coerce a Mega Chicago Cubs Move

Yet another day and yet another player has stepped up to ask for Shohei Ohtani’s hand in their union as teammates. Sho-time is a highly coveted player. Every team, every player wants him to put ink on paper and sign with their teams. There’s news every other day about teams wanting the two-way electrifying sensation, knowing that Ohtani might just be the best player in the whole of Major League Baseball right now.

And just when the baseball world thought the competition couldn’t get any fiercer, enter another player from the Chicago Cubs, Seiya Suzuki, who has thrown his hat into the ring. Suzuki, an All-Star player from the Nippon Professional Baseball league, joined the Chicago Cubs in 2022 and has wasted no time in extending a warm invitation to Ohtani.

MLB managers are on the edge of their seats ready to jump out the second Ohtani becomes a free agent after this season. As the 2021 MVP prepares to potentially embark on a new direction of his career, teams are preparing their blank cheques in hopes of luring him onto their rosters with staggering paychecks.

However, despite the frenzy of activity surrounding him, Ohtani remains focused on his current team and their pursuit of a playoff berth, at least until the next 9 months.

Now back to Seiya Suzuki, who has extended an invitation to Ohtani to join him in the Cubs. But before that, the two already will be teammates in the World Baseball Classic and will be playing for their home country. It’s possible that Suzuki might try to convince Ohtani to join the Cubs.

But as well all know, Ohtani isn’t one to be swayed by money or fame. His sights are set on one thing and one thing only: winning. He’s a fierce competitor who won’t be easily wooed by high salaries or empty promises. He’s in it to win, and nothing else will do. 

The dynamic duo in the World Baseball Classic 

It will be a wild ride to see the two, Shohei Ohtani and Seiya Suzuki, playing alongside each other for Japan in the World Baseball Classic which begins on March 8th. It would just last two weeks, so the winner will be unveiled soon! Are you rooting for the USA or does your loyalty lie with one of these players?

Time will tell if the two end up together in MLB, but for now, baseball fans will have a glimpse of the dynamic duo on the field together. It will also become apparent whether the two are compatible on the field or not. But one thing is for sure – the two weeks of the World Classic will be a thrilling experience for all!
