The former outfielder of the LA Dodgers, Joc Pederson, was once livid with the iconic singer Taylor Swift for ruining one of his games. Apparently, in the Dodgers v/s Nationals game in 2015, lights went out in the Stadium thrice, and the third time eventually caused the game to get suspended. The game had survived two delays, but the third one was the last straw.

Naturally, not only the spectators but also the players got annoyed because of it. It is common practice for singers to use ballparks as concert arenas. That was the case before the suspended Dodgers game. A day before the game in Nationals Park, popstar Taylor Swift had done a concert there. Therefore, a couple of players, including Joc Pederson, were annoyed about the problem with the lights and blamed Swift for it. A couple of weeks later, Taylor did another show in Nationals Park, and former Dodger Joc Pederson was again annoyed by it.

Joc Pederson wasn’t happy about Taylor Swift’s actions

Since then, Dodgers’ Joc Pederson had thought Taylor Swift was the reason behind the lights going out during the game at Nationals Park on July 17, 2015. Therefore, he thought that if she was going to do another show there, she should have invited both teams.

“If she’s gonna blow the lights out, she should invite us,” Pederson said“I’m just kind of jealous she put on that good of a concert and didn’t invite us.”

There is a big chance that Swift might not even know about the criticism of the baseball players. Anyway, it would have been a treat for both the players and the fans if she had invited both teams to her concert.

Other than Pederson, who else wasn’t happy with Swift?

The former player of the Washington Nationals, Max Scherzer, was also one of the ballplayers who had an issue with the singer, accusing her of ruining their game.
