Kelly met her friend and co-star Leighton Meester during a commercial shoot for ‘Clearasil’ in South Africa. They became friends very quickly. They both formed a stronger bond later while acting together in the film ‘The Roommate’. While Kelly played the female protagonist, Meester played an antagonist who gets obsessed with Kelly’s character. 

 

According to a source, while praising Meester in an interview, Kelly said, “She’s such a wonderful girl and so talented. She’s so good at what she does. I loved her from the beginning!”
