Every baseball fan is aware of Ohtani’s two-way skill. Whether it is from the mound or the plate, he never fails to impress. However, this time, Ohtani did not do either of them to win it for the Angles. Instead, he partnered with Anthony Rendon and won a thrilling game against the Washington Nationals.
Shohei Ohtani and Anthony Rendon win it in death for the Angels
The LA Angels have been playing their best baseball lately. With 19 wins out of 30 games, the Angels are at the top of the AL West 2022 standings. Recently, the Angles completed their three-game series against the Nationals.
After winning the first game, the Angels lost their second game against the Nationals. With this, the third game automatically became the decider. As expected, the third game went down to the wire. At once, both teams were tied at 4-4. But a brilliant partnership between Ohtani and Rendon not only won them the game, but also the series.

This win came in the ninth inning of the game when Rendon hit the ball, and Ohtani completed his run to the base. Talking about the game, the Angels two-way phenom said that he has been feeling better since the last couple of games.
“The last couple games, I’ve actually been feeling better, “ Ohtani said. “I’ve been getting a better angle on the balls that I’m hitting and they’re going in the air. So I think in a few more days, I should be able to get there.”
