The UFC’s light heavyweight division has entered a new era. Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier dominated the 205-pound division in the UFC for the better part of a decade. With both men not in the picture anymore, the likes of Jiri Prochazka, Johnny Walker, and Jimmy Crute among others will look to make an impact.

The UFC prides itself on matching the best against the best. As the promotion starts to unveil its matchups for the early half of 2021, fans can expect a lot of good fights. Reports suggest that ninth-ranked light heavyweight Johnny Walker is set to take on 12th ranked Jimmy Crute on March 27th.

Walker bounced back with a stunning knockout win over Ryan Spann last September. He now faces an incredibly tough adversary in Jimmy Crute and will aim to go on another winning streak.

Crute, on the other hand, is also a product of Dana White’s Contender Series. ‘The Brute’ secured three wins on the trot in the UFC via stoppage before succumbing to a loss against Misha Cirkunov in September 2019.
