Dustin Poirier has been in the UFC since 2011. In his decade with the UFC, ‘The Diamond’ has established himself as one of the best and most entertaining fighters. A few weeks from now he takes on arguably the biggest fight of his career against Conor McGregor.
Dustin has the opportunity at UFC 257 to show the journey he has been on as a martial artist. Conor McGregor beat him comprehensively at UFC 178. Since then Dustin has moved up and improved leaps and bounds as a fighter. A win at UFC 257 will be a culmination of all the work put in by him since the loss. Furthermore, it will be a good way for him to put himself back among title shot conversations.

Dustin is a family man and gives back to the community with ‘The Good Fight Foundation’ which is something he plans on devoting his time to after his MMA career is done.
After his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov, he beat Dan Hooker. Subsequently, he was rumored to fight against Tony Ferguson. While there was a lot of buzz around the fight and fans wanted to see it, the fight did not happen as ‘The Diamond’ and the UFC could not come to a financial agreement.
