Jon Jones Gives ‘4 Reasons’ Why Israel Adesanya Is Avoiding Him

Jon Jones has been carefully watching fights unfold as he prepares to move up a weight class. The former light-heavyweight champion recently announced that he would be moving up to heavyweight. In the process, he relinquished his belt which Jan Blachowicz now holds. 

However, his back and forth with middleweight champion Israel Adesanya still continues despite the fighter now being two weight classes apart. Following his second title defense against Paulo Costa, ‘The Last Stylebender’ mentioned he was still interested in fighting Jones. However, Jones has found comical that Adesanya doesn’t want the fight anytime soon.

Jones took to Twitter earlier today to poke fun at ‘The Last Style Bender’ he tweeted,

  2. Convince the world Jon Jones is jealous even though he is undefeated, incredibly successful, and the youngest champion in the sport’s history

Following his clinical display against Paulo Costa, Adesanya addressed questions about ‘Bones’ in the post-fight interview. He said “I just wanted to f**k up Jon Jones and I still will. But I just have to talk to Eugene (Bareman) first cause even he spoke about Stipe Miocic and other things.

The two men have been on each other’s radar ever since Adesanya has been making a name for himself at middleweight. Both fighters have taken to social media multiple times to criticize and troll each other.

A fight between ‘Bones’ and ‘The Last Stylebender’ would be a delight for fans. However, with Jones’ eye set on another target and the move up in weight, a fight between the two becomes more of a challenge. Nevertheless, the UFC is known for delighting the fans and making fights where the best fight the best.
