‘Keep Hiding’- Tony Ferguson Goes Off on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager

Tony Ferguson is hard at work for his battle against Charles Oliveira this weekend. This will be Ferguson’s return to the Octagon after his 12-fight win streak was broken by Justin Gaethje earlier this year.
While Gaethje went on to (presumably) be Khabib Nurmagomedov’s final opponent, Tony missed out on the super-fight, yet again.
However, the matchup with ‘Do Bronx‘ has everyone excited. Tony can re-establish himself in the title picture with a win. But a loss may set him back. Despite that, Tony took this relatively high-risk fight.

Ali Abdelaziz, Khabib’s manager, recently took some shots at Tony on Twitter. Ali also manages Justin Gaethje and said that Tony’s people reached out to him to work with Gaethje after their fight. Tony responded aggressively in his usual social media demeanor.
Ali, Your Such a Fuckin’ Hooooooe I Love It 🎶 Post it up MF & While Your At It Keep Hiding/Watching From The Sidelines w/ @TeamKhabib hashtag # BeGon’Thot 🖕😆 -CSO- 🇺🇸🏆🇲🇽 # pic.twitter.com/97YlOi2J3l

Fighters often work out with former opponents to sharpen their skills. One can’t fault or make fun of Tony for reaching out to Gaethje after their fight.
After all, Gaethje has the blueprint on how to beat Tony. He can work on those skills and be a better fighter. Faulting him for that, no matter how it seems, is odd.

Tony Ferguson to bounce back with a strong performance against Oliveira?
Tony Ferguson is fighting for a lot right now. His unbeatable aura has dissipated quicker than many anticipated, as that Gaethje fight was quite damning for Tony. But that doesn’t discount the fact that Ferguson has been tearing the division up for the last few years.
Evidently, Tony still has a Khabib super-fight on his mind. He name-dropped him in his call-out to Abdelaziz. Considering Khabib announced his retirement, the odds of that happening now seem slimmer.

Ferguson could bear the brunt of a bad performance against Do Bronx. Win, lose, or draw, ‘El Cucuy’ has established a very strong legacy in the UFC. Hopefully, this isn’t the end, but a chapter of redemption.
