Joe Rogan shares the benefits of mindfulness with his followers

Rogan took to Instagram to share a new experience. The caption said, “I listened to this guy talk about mindfulness while sitting in the sauna at 185 degrees for 25 minutes practicing breathing exercises and the time just flew by. Afterwards I do a freezing cold shower for 10 minutes and it feels f***ing amazing.”

“There’s a lot of physical benefits to the sauna and the cold shower, but there’s also some real mental benefits to the ritual of sitting alone and thinking. Crazy how the sauna can feel like torture if your mind isn’t right, but when my intentions are set and I concentrate on breathing I can sail through it with pleasure.”
