Valentina Shevchenko Proves Once Again Why She is the Scariest Woman in the UFC

Valentina Shevchenko is one of the most dangerous women on the UFC roster. Shevchenko who hails from Kyrgyzstan is the current UFC flyweight champion. She is also a multiple-time champion in both Kickboxing and Muay Thai. 

In a recent post on her Instagram, Valentina showed that he is a woman of many talents. The post showed Valentina at a shooting range. ‘Bullet’ drew a pistol from her holster and load it with a magazine.

Valentina then proceeded ahead with a loaded gun with multiple targets scattered in front of her, hitting two targets. Following which, she moved a bit to the left and went on to hit two more targets before reloading her pistol. Before hitting her last three targets and putting her gun back into the holster.

What’s next for Valentina Shevchenko 

Shevchenko arguably one of the most dominant champions in the UFC today. In her 5 years with the UFC thus far, she has faced the best women in two divisions. She started her UFC career in the Bantamweight division. Her only two losses at bantamweight were against the best female fighter to ever do it, Amanda Nunes.

After coming up short against Nunes at UFC 215, Shevchenko moved back down to Flyweight. Since her return to flyweight, she won the vacant flyweight belt against Joanna Jedrzejczyk and then went on to defend it three times.

Her most recent defense came in February of this year. ‘Bullet’ stopped Katlyn Chookagian in round three of their five-round event. However, at this point in time, Shevchenko is at a stage where she is head and shoulders above the competition at flyweight.

However, in Jennifer Maia, she faces someone who is coming off an impressive submission win over Joanne Calderwood. Jennifer is a tough fighter and will be a real test for Valentina’s as she aims to make her fourth title defense as the flyweight queen. 

If Valentina were to get past Maia, should the UFC should set up a re-match between Nunes and Shevchenko?
