Jon Jones has been having a tough time over the last few weeks. The former light heavyweight champion was arrested a few weeks back during his trip to Las Vegas where he was inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame.

Since that incident, Jones has been under immense scrutiny from both the media as well as fellow fighters in the UFC. ‘Bones’ has also been banned from entering the Jackson Wink gym, which has been his home since the start of his UFC career. Head coach Mike Winkeljohn stated that his star pupil is not welcome to the gym following his recent troubles.

It appears as though Jon Jones is in no hurry to get things right. A recent screenshot shared by Amy Kaplan of FanSided MMA showed a rather unpleasant message sent by Jon Jones to her. In the message, Jones said, “First of all you literally look like a witch. Second of all keep my girls out of your mouth. You have no clue what’s normal to them. You’re disgusting over there judging someone else. f**k off.”

The winner of that fight will most likely be next for Jon Jones. In the interviews during the Hall Of Fame ceremony, Jones admitted that hiring Richard Schaefer has helped him tremendously in his relationship with the UFC. He also stated he was excited to compete once again.

However, at this point, it is not known if Jones will face further punishment for his actions. Assuming he does not, Jones should be able to fight for the heavyweight strap towards the second half of next year.

Both Ciryl Gane and Francis Ngannou will pose extremely different but equally difficult challenges for Jon Jones. However, a fight with the scariest puncher that fans have seen in recent memory would most definitely be the bigger fight from a business point of view for Jon Jones.
