He has attained both wealth and a keen audience of 11 million who listen to his show on a daily basis. Rogan holds the #1 podcast on Spotify and is one of the richest comedians in the world. It would seem like eons ago when Rogan hosted the ‘Fear Factor’, a show of frightening feats, where he even got himself into a scuttle with a contestant.

The motivation behind Joe Rogan’s rise in his early career
On episode #1879 of JRE, Rogan confided that he too needed a little encouragement as a 21-year-old. He stated, “When I was 21 years old, when I first started stand-up I got ‘Unlimited Power’, one of his books,” referring to the motivational guru, Tony Robbins.
“It came in those audio cassettes. I was living in Revere, Massachusetts in a sh*tty apartment, like writing things down and reading his book and trying to motivate myself from f*cking getting ahead in life,” he confided in the podcast.

Joe began his career in 1988 as a stand-up comedian. He had successfully signed up with companies like Disney. His work with the Ultimate Fighting Championship began in 1997 as a commentator and he still plays that role in the biggest UFC events today. He began his podcast in 2009, and had recently signed a $120 million dollar deal with Spotify. They bet big on him and he has lived up to their expectations. He has had a wide variety of guests on his podcast show like Elon Musk, Bernie Sanders, Quentin Tarantino, Jordan Peterson, and the list goes on.

From the humble beginnings of living in a sh**ty apartment to living in a $14.4 million dollar home. Rogan has indeed come far. His house in Austin, Texas is sprawling at 10,980 sq. feet with 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The color commentator is the highest paid podcaster in 2022 . Recent reports of the Spotify deal revealed that it may have been double its worth estimated at about $200 million. Being controversial works well for Rogan, as recent reports indicate that he is just too powerful to be canceled by anything he says.
