The motivation behind Joe Rogan’s rise in his early career

On episode #1879 of JRE, Rogan confided that he too needed a little encouragement as a 21-year-old. He stated, “When I was 21 years old, when I first started stand-up I got ‘Unlimited Power’, one of his books,” referring to the motivational guru, Tony Robbins. 

“It came in those audio cassettes. I was living in Revere, Massachusetts in a sh*tty apartment, like writing things down and reading his book and trying to motivate myself from f*cking getting ahead in life,” he confided in the podcast.

Recent reports of the Spotify deal revealed that it may have been double its worth estimated at about $200 million. Being controversial works well for Rogan, as recent reports indicate that he is just too powerful to be canceled by anything he says.
