Moto3: The Sun is Shining in Le Mans #FrenchGP

A nice, positive and exciting Moto3 weekend, where Tony and his crew worked perfectly. They are getting better day by day with the goal of being closer race by race…

The 5th round of the Moto3 season started under a beautiful sun in France. After an exceptional start, Tony took 10th place at the first corner. He managed to stick with the lead group for the whole race.

A few laps from the end he lost a bit of grip that didn’t allow him to try the final attack. In the end, he finished the race in 7th position.

It was his best position in his entire Moto3 career. He picked up 9 more points to settle for 20th in the championship standing.

After Jerez’s masterpiece, Tony ended the race with a lots of experience. All this was thanks to team work and being calm in the garage.

‘I had lot of fun riding in the first group. From Jerez we found the right way and set up.
I am a Little bit sad for the final laps because I lost a lot grip.
KTM improved a lot with engine, but I’m very happy, We worked a lot and my bike is very good.’

A delighted and quiet Tony is ready for the next round, his home race in Mugello in 2 weeks time. But before coming back home, he has to work tomorrow, for a day test at Le Mans.

The race was won by Albert Arenas and he was joined by Andrea Migno and Marcos Ramirez. Initially, Fabio Di Giannantonio crossed the line first but was penalised for cutting the corner. Di Giannantonio nearly got involved in a dramatic crash between Moto3 championship contenders, Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi.

Fortunately, Arbolino survived all the chaos and ended the race in a strong 7th place.
