Bubba Wallace simply can’t catch a break this season. The 23XI Racing driver had an incredibly strong race this past weekend, but unfortunately for him, nothing to show for it.

However, fortunately, Wallace has a team behind him that recognizes and appreciates his talent, especially the display of talent they got in Kansas.

“Proud of @BubbaWallace as always. This season is the best I’ve seen him drive in the 12+ years we’ve been working together. One day it’ll all come together. Congrats to our @23XIRacing teammates,” Freddie Kraft, the spotter of #23 tweeted.

And on this tweet of the spotter, co-owner Denny Hamlin showered his driver with some pretty high praise as he said of Wallace, “Best race he’s ever driven. Unbelievable effort this weekend by the 23XI team. We know where we have to improve.”

“Let’s just keep getting better at the things we can control.”

23XI Racing has let down Bubba Wallace, Denny Hamlin admits

The Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway turned out to be yet another addition to the list of races in which Bubba Wallace suffered a poor result through no fault of his own.

This time it was the usual suspect once again, a poor pit stop, which led to co-owner Denny Hamlin admitting that they have let down their own driver and Wallace has all the right to be “frustrated.”

“F**king Bullsh*t” – Bubba Wallace’s “Joke” NASCAR Pit Crew Costs Him Dearly in Kansas Amidst Teammate Kurt Busch’s Win

“Listen, I passed #45 pretty early, easily in traffic, but I couldn’t pass the #23. He was really, really fast, I mean extremely fast. The results don’t show it, but like I said, as a team, we’re letting him down right now,” the Joe Gibbs Racing driver said in a post-race interview.

When asked what could be done to fix the situation, Denny Hamlin hinted that the issues will be dealt with “internally”. “We gotta work through some issues on pit road certainly,” he emphasized.

“I think we have to figure out how to manage races,” Hamlin added.
