IndyCar- NASCAR Truck Series Weekend at Gateway to Allow Fans

The NTT IndyCar Series has released a revised schedule, yet again. IndyCar reported on Monday, July 27, that the season will presently comprise 14 races with three doubleheaders.
The three doubleheaders will be at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s street course.
Mid-Ohio will have a doubleheader on Aug. 8 and 9. Gateway will have its doubleheader end of the week on Aug. 29 and 30. Indianapolis will host the doubleheaders with races on Oct. 2 and 3.

Indycar reports the drop of the West coast races in Portland (Sept. 13) and Laguna Seca (Sept. 19-20). In their stead, IndyCar has made three doubleheaders. The series plans on coming back to the two dropped venues in 2021.
NBC reports, “Our race fans have loved the exciting doubleheader action of the NTT IndyCar Series this year at Road America and Iowa Speedway,” Penske Entertainment Corp. President and CEO, Mark Miles, said in a release.
“We look forward to giving them even more world-class entertainment this season at three of the most exciting racetracks on the NTT IndyCar Series calendar.”

Mid-Ohio will have a constrained measure of onlookers for the two races. The qualifying session will be in place for the two races. The principal lap of every driver’s particular qualifying will be for the primary race.

Moreover, the subsequent lap will be for the subsequent race. Gateway will likewise have constrained participation for fans.
In accordance with the safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, World Wide Technology Raceway is urging fans to take a look at the re-examined seating plan.
They have also released different limitations and states of passage on the website.

On Aug. 29, the IndyCar race will be trailed by an ARCA Menards Series race. The next day, the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series race will go before the IndyCar race.
