AJ Allmendinger Pokes Fun at Daniel Hemric’s Inability to Win a NASCAR Xfinity Race This Season

Daniel Hemric has got to be the unluckiest driver in the NASCAR Xfinity arena this season. He is currently in his fourth season in the Xfinity Series and battling for the championship. Despite this, he has yet to nab a win in the series, though he has come close on several occasions. Needless to say, AJ Allmendinger decided to tease him about his win jinx.

This year provided plenty of opportunities, but the #18 driver has fallen short every time. Somehow, he has found himself in the Championship 4 battle with Austin Cindric, AJ Allmendinger, and Noah Gragson. Speaking after the race, AJ Allmendinger joked that Hemric may have made a few enemies, which explained why many seem to spin off whenever he is in a position to win a race.

Without a doubt, the four contenders will be keen to go racing next weekend at Phoenix. Cindric and Allmendinger are definitely the favorites, but Hemric and Gragson are still forces to reckon with. What goes in Cindric’s favor is that he has won twice at the track, while the other three have not. However, one can never say never in NASCAR, as the sport is hugely unpredictable at times.

The four of them will definitely duel it out in Phoenix. However, it would be wise to consider that they are not the only drivers on the race track. In the past few races, non-championship drivers have inadvertently influenced a title battle. So, the quartet will be extremely wary of their on-track rivals; a tangle with the wrong driver could be costly, and none of them need that.

So, now the big question is, can Austin Cindric snatch a second consecutive Xfinity Series title? Or will AJ Allmendinger, Noah Gragson or Daniel Hemric take their maiden titles? Whatever the case, wherever they finish will be a career best for Allmendinger, Gragson and Hemric.
