All You Need to Know Before Attending the NASCAR Hollywood Casino 400 Race at Kansas

This weekend, the NASCAR paddock heads to the Kansas Speedway for the Hollywood Casino 400. Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, a number of compromises have to be made.

In light of that, the Kansas Speedway authorities issued a statement about how they will handle the situation. They revealed that they worked in tandem with public health officials, medical experts, and local and state officials.

They assured everyone that the track can host fans for the Hollywood Casino 400, and in order to successfully host a race, they laid down several rules for people to follow during the October weekend.

First and foremost, fans will receive new, socially distanced seating arrangements for the races. Secondly, the organizers the infield will be reserved for competition-essential personnel only.

Owing to this, any infield experiences are off the table for the fans. In other words, events like the driver’s meeting red carpet and FanWalk appearances will be canceled.

What other events have been cut from the Casino 400 NASCAR itinerary?

Aside from this, the fans will also have to attend the race weekend without several race-day experiences. This includes tickets for the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 300.

Furthermore, they will not have access to Reserved Infield Camping, Tent Camping, or Richmond Camping.

Sadly, the list does not stop there, as the crowd will not have Pre-Race Passes or FanWalk Tickets. Nor will they be able to enjoy Garage Hospitality or Individual Suites.

Other lost amenities include FanVision, Scanner Rentals, Interactive Displays, Fan Engagement Areas, Paid Parking, and Premium Tailgate Parking.

It is worth noting that fans who purchased these facilities will duly receive a refund. In addition to that, the track officials placed a cap of 10,000 fans for Sunday’s race.

Schedule-wise, the ARCA Menard series kicks things off with the Truck Series and Xfinity Series races held on Saturday. However, all those races are behind closed doors, with fans only for the Cup race on Sunday.
